How do I know what service to book?!
-
Super easy! If you are looking to book under 'barber service' based on length of hair and type of service!
If you are looking to book a salon service choose one of the services labeled 'salon services'
-
should I wash my hair before coming?!
-
quick tips: if you are looking to get a curly cut come in the way you wear your hair naturally with your curls still intact.
If your are booking a color come in with at least day 2 or 3 hair so your scalp has some natural oils, don't apply heavy oils to your hair, it disrupts the color.
For a perm no need to wash your hair because I do that for you, feel free to text me about your hair length because we need enough to work with.
for barber services no need to wash before hand, I will do that! unless you prefer, just try not to come with too many tangles.

How long does a service take?
-
a simple barber haircut takes 45 minutes to 1 hour.
a long haircut takes 1 hour to 2 hours depending on density.
color takes anywhere between 2 to 5 hours depending on the service and density of the hair
perms take 2 hours minimum depending on the length
-
how often should I get my hair cut?
-
I always say get a haircut when your hair starts to bother you but a good rule of thumb is once a season which ends up coming out to every 3 to 4 months
-
why is my hair still dry after a haircut?
-
a haircut refreshes the hair but it is important to maintain hair health in-between haircuts.
this includes weekly shampoos/cleansing until you get a rich sud and following up with a good conditioner.
if your hair is on the dryer side I recommend deep conditioning when you shampoo, leaving it for 5 minutes or so and rinsing.
follow up with a good leave in conditioner that works for you
-
what happens if I need to cancel?
-
be sure to give 24 hours before cancelling! this allows an opportunity for the slot to be filled especially if it is a big service gap.
If you are a no show/late cancellation two times you will be required to have a credit card in order to book
